Welcome to our small but mighty goat dairy, lovingly run by Graham and Carmel (Mel) Clews, with support from our dear friend Jacqui. We’ve spent the last 9 years building our herd—and our life—together, and each bottle of milk reflects that journey.
Mel, a former nurse and midwife of 43 years, brings a nurturing spirit to everything we do. Graham, who’s had goats since he was just 9 years old, blends lifelong farming wisdom with a deep respect for animal welfare. Together, we’re not just farming—we’re fostering health, hope, and community.
Our goats aren’t just livestock—they’re family. Many of our nanny goats have names and trace their lineage through four generations, now stepping into a fifth. We nurture our animals with respect and affection, and their welfare is paramount to everything we do.
We breed our nannies every other year, giving each mum a full year of rest between kiddings. The kids remain with their mothers until they are naturally weaned at around four months of age. The milk we bottle is only the surplus—what their babies leave behind.
At the heart of our little farm is a love story—between Graham and Carmel (Mel) Clews, between humans and animals, and most of all, between a way of life and the nourishing power of nature.
Our dairy is run by us—Graham and Mel—with the wonderful help of our dear friend Jacqui, who’s become part of the fabric of our daily rhythm. We’re proud to produce rich, creamy raw goat milk from our herd of British Saanen, Toggenburg, and British Alpine goats, all raised with kindness, care, and curiosity.
